Most orders are shipped within 2 - 5 business days; however please allow up to 7 days following payment receipt for your order to be processed and shipped. J.Lynne Cosmetics products are created in small batches, which means that products may be formulated especially for your order. In the event of an unusual delay, customers will be contacted via email.
Customers will receive an order summary and receipt via email shortly after placing their order. A separate confirmation (with delivery confirmation tracking, if available) will be emailed when the order has been shipped. Be sure that the email address you use when placing your order is valid, spelled correctly, and is able to accept emails from the jlynnecosmetics.com domain. If you have not received your order confirmation within 24 hours of placing your order, please email us and we will forward the confirmation to you. Note: Some customers may need to check their Spam or Junk Mail folders for order confirmations and correspondence from J.Lynne Cosmetics.
Changes & Cancellations
Please review your order carefully before submitting, and double check your email receipt for accuracy. If we notice something that appears to be an error in your order, we will contact you via email for verification.
Order changes and cancellations must be emailed to Customer Service as soon as possible, and no later than 24 hours after the order was placed. Some orders may be processed the same day of receipt, so we're unable guarantee that changes or cancellations may be made prior to shipment.
Credit Card Payments: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express payments are accepted via secure online transaction directly through our shopping cart. When completing your credit card payment, enter your billing address exactly as shown on your credit card statement. Also be sure to very carefully enter your credit card information, otherwise your payment may be declined. A valid Card Verification Value code must be provided for credit card payments. (This is the three-digit number on the back of your credit card in the signature box.) If your CVV2 number is missing or illegible, you will need to complete payment via an alternate method. This is a safety measure in place to help protect our customers against fraudulent credit card use.
PayPal Payments: For our customers who prefer PayPal, we accept all major credit cards, PayPal balance transfers, bank account transfers, and electronic checks through the PayPal payment service. If you choose PayPal as your payment method and we do not receive payment within one hour of your order, an invoice will be emailed to you.
Money Orders & Personal Checks: When placing your order through our shopping cart, choose Check/Money Order as your payment method. Please remember that personal checks require up to 7 business days to clear with our bank, and we cannot begin processing your order until your payment has been received and cleared.
We are required by law to collect state sales tax on orders being shipped within the state of Arizona. All orders with an Arizona shipping address will be assessed 7.8% sales tax on the entire order (less shipping/handling).
USA orders are shipped either via USPS First Class Package with delivery confirmation or via Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. If your order qualifies for free shipping, it will be shipped via Priority Mail. Our shipping/handling fees are based on the order subtotal, and the current rate table is shown below:

Customers will receive an email with their delivery confirmation tracking number once the order has been shipped. Priority Mail packages are typically delivered 2 - 5 business days after the ship date. Because postal delays do occur on occasion, please allow up to 15 business days to receive your order following the ship date. Note: J.Lynne Cosmetics is not responsible for packages that are delayed during transit. While most Priority Mail shipments are delivered within 5 business days, we do not guarantee delivery by any specific date and cannot be held liable if your package arrives late due to weather delays, mis-routing, heavy mail volume, or any other reason caused by the United States Postal Service.
If your order has not been delivered within 15 business days of shipment, contact Customer Service and we will file a Mail Loss Form. If the USPS tracer is unsuccessful and they determine that your package has been lost, a new order will be shipped out. We will provide replacements for lost shipments; refunds will not be processed for orders that have been shipped.
We are happy to offer shipping to a wide number of countries around the world! To place an order with a shipping location outside of the United States, simply add your first item to the shopping cart, then choose your country from the drop-down box. Our international shipping rates are as follows:

Whenever possible, we will package international orders in padded envelopes, rather than boxes, to reduce the shipping cost. If your order is small enough to be sent in a padded envelope, we will give you a partial refund on your shipping fees once your order has been shipped.
Because our international shipments require Customs forms, we are required by law to correctly identify the contents and value of your package. J.Lynne Cosmetics is not responsible for any shipment delays or Import/VAT taxes that may be imposed.
International orders are shipped via insured USPS First Class Mail International. Packages are typically delivered within 10 - 15 business days following the ship date. Because postal delays do occur on occasion, please allow up to 45 days following the ship date to receive your order.
Note: J.Lynne Cosmetics is not responsible for packages that are delayed during transit. While most Airmail shipments are delivered within 15 business days, we do not guarantee delivery by any specific date and cannot be held liable if your package arrives late due to weather delays, mis-routing, heavy mail volume, or any other reason caused by the United States Postal Service. If your order has not been delivered within 45 business days of shipment, contact Customer Service. We will provide replacements for lost shipments; refunds will not be processed for orders that have been shipped.
Orders are shipped to the address provided by the customer in the "Shipping Address" field of the shopping cart. This address is also included in the order confirmation email. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the address they submit during the checkout process is current and valid, with no errors or incomplete information.
If a package is returned to us as "Undeliverable" for any reason, the customer will be charged an additional shipping fee in order for us to mail out the package again.
Product Returns & Exchanges
All sales are final on the following items:
- Product samples
- Opened/used full-size products
- Application tools (brushes and sponges)
- Empty cosmetic jars
- Mascaras, primers, and sealants
Unopened, full-size cosmetic products may be returned or exchanged within 30 days following receipt, provided that they are in brand new, sealed, resaleable condition.
To request a return or exchange, first contact Customer Service with your order number, receipt number, and the items that you will be returning. All returns and exchanges require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, issued by J.Lynne Cosmetics. Sorry, we cannot reimburse you for shipping us your returned/exchanged items. Once your items have been received by J.Lynne Cosmetics, you will be issued a store credit or a refund, less your original shipping/handling fee. In the case of an exchange, your new items will be sent out shortly. Items that are sent back without an RMA number will be refused and returned to sender. Our mailing address is below:

If there was a mistake with your order, or if an item is incorrect or missing, email us within seven 7 days of receiving your order. Be sure to check the enclosed receipt and packaging carefully to ensure that all items are correct and were included with your order.
Items Damaged in Transit
If your order contains merchandise that was damaged in the shipping process, contact Customer Service within 7 days of package receipt. Be sure to include your order number, receipt number, and detailed information about the damaged product(s). Items that have been damaged in transit will usually need to be inspected by the carrier, so please keep the shipping box, packing materials, and all damaged items together to ensure prompt resolution.
A 30 day warranty is available only on cosmetic brushes that are damaged or defective due to manufacturing. Replacements and refunds are not available for products that are damaged due to customer misuse. Please use all products only as directed on our website.
If your brush is damaged within 30 days of receipt, contact Customer Service with a detailed explanation of the problem. We may require that your damaged item be returned to us prior to providing a replacement.
